I have H1N1 and I am trying to get well. I have missed 3 days of school and I still feel bad. But to waste some time this week, my Mom helped me do some silly stuff. This is me:

My Blonde Chin
Yes, I am weird. Hopefully I am better by Saturday sicne I have round 2 of the Angel Ridge series this weekend. Thanks for reading!
Amarillo was a lot of fun and I had a blast. We headed to Amarillo Friday and I raced the65cc Open class that night. The track was great…a really cool rhythm section and some fun whoops. I felt good on the track but there was a finish line triple that was getting in my head, I just couldn’t hit it. My parents thought I could do it but Friday night it just didn’t happen for me. I ended up with 2nd place.
Saturday was a long day….we ran practice and heats all day long and we went to eat at Cracker Barrel during the break. When we got back to the arena, the place was packed with people, the crowd was so pumped up! My Dad talked to me a little more about the finish line triple but I still wasn’t sure. Races started and I was having a lot of fun and I was in first place so on my 3rd lap I decided to go for it and I made it but I couldn’t find my brake fast enough and I fell over on the turn going into the next jump. That put me in last place but I was able to come back and take 3rd.
In the 65 open, I decided not to leave that arena without hitting it again so this time, I made it and I was so excited. That was my first triple EVER. Now, I know I can do it. I ended up with 2nd in the open class that night. It was a great weekend!

Lane had a great motocross weekend! He spent the afternoon and evening practice riding at The Yorks private track in Hydro, Ok. Then early this morning we headed out to El Reno to Angel Ridge Motocross Park. Troy, Tammy and the gang have done a wonderful job getting the place ready to race. It’s come a long way and you can tell that they have really put some work into it. Go check them out if you are looking for a place to ride in Oklahoma. I’ll add them to my links soon….
Lane earned 3 first place finishes today and was able to get the holeshot award in the 65cc open class which earned him a 6 pack of Dr. Pepper (see pic above!) Next up–Amarillo Arenacross Friday and Saturday!!

This is me and my friend Denham out at his track at his house. Last night we had a great practice. We were hitting all the jumps and having a good time. Even my Dad, Denhams Dad and my little sister Grace rode. This weekend we are headed to Angel Ridge for the first race of the series. I think I have some of my old confidence back after breaking my collarbone. It’s gonna be a fun race!
We traveled to Shawnee, OK for the OSCS banquet and it was so fun. I got 3 awards. I was the 5th place rider in the 65 9-11 class, 6th place in the 65 open and 10th place in the 85cc 7-11. It was cool to go up on stage and get my awards.
The best part was all the free stuff they gave away. I won a bunch of stuff that I like and a lot of stuff that my Dad can use to keep the bikes running. I won a tire for my 65, 3 umbrellas, chain lube, 4 t shirts, oakley goggles, gas can, bike stand, bunch of red bull and some tools.
Thank you to all the people that made the State Series so fun. It was great riding at all the cool tracks.
Right now both of my KTM 65’s are going in the shop. The fork seals are leaking…
Next Race–Cooperland Series–Race#1……see you there!
